IL NIDO, which means 'The Nest', is a tiny bed and breakfast on the third floor of a typically quaint 18th Century house in one of the winding lanes at the heart of the little seaside town of San Terenzo near Lerici. It is just 50 metres from the beach and from the characteristic promenade which runs along the sea front between the Castles of San Terenzo and Lerici.
Guest accommodation comprises a small, recently renovated, one room apartment with its own separate entrance, kitchen corner, private bathroom and comfortable double bed-settee. It is ideal for the single traveler or cosy for a couple. A delicious breakfast is provided at Oriani's - the traditional cafè and pastry shop on the sea front.
Prices range from 45 € to 60 € per nigth per room.
SAN TERENZO AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Just on the outskirts of nearby Lerici, the little seaside village of San Terenzo al mare has managed to resist time and maintain its unspoiled easy atmosphere and moderate size. In addition to the summer tourists, the village's inhabitants are joined by a number of year-round or winter tourists attracted here by the mild climate of the area and the village's particular location between Liguria and Tuscany.
